Roberta Marie (Lasher) Acierno, 70, of Shippenville RD 1 died Sunday, April 5, 1998 at Brookville Hospital. She was born March 28, 1928 in Washington Township, Armstrong County, to Ernest and Jessie Belle (Fair) Lasher. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Kimberly) Talboo of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren, Tanis Smith, Fonda Smith and Melissa Cole and John Michael Talboo; three great-grandchildren; one sister Garaldine White of Johnstown; and her Companion, Ray Simpson of Shippenville. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Bonita McMillen. ACIERNO - Friends of Roberta Marie (Lasher) Acierno, 70, of Shippenville RD 1, who died April 5, 1998 will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., A Forethought member, Cowansville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Chris Murphy, pastor of the Limestone-Reesedale Church of God, officiating. Interment will take place in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Adrian RD 1, The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice. Arrangements by Snyder-Crissman.
