Mrs. Lillie Wyant

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Adrian, for Mrs. Lillie Wyant of McGrann who died last Monday in Armstrong Count Memorial Hospital. The rites were in charge of the church pastor, Rev. A. W. Smith assisted by Rev. F. D. Bahrenburg of Walk Chalk Baptist Church. Two hymns, “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” and “Going Down the Valley,” were sung by Mrs. George Rebold and Mrs. D. L. Brown. Mrs. Rebecca Weigley was the organist. As burial was made in the church cemetery, casket bearers were Lee Claypool, Merle Goldinger, Charles Hooks, George Stockdill, Herbert Shaffer and William Walls.

Lillie Florence (White) Wyant, aged 57 years, of McGrann Borough, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, died at 6:25 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 1953 in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Wyant was born, November 3, 1896 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Mary Jane (Crissman) White. Funeral arrangements were in the care of undertaker Walter G. Snyder of Cowansville, Pennsylvania. Interment was made on Thursday, November 12, 1953 in the St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Adrian, Washington Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Information was provided by John E. Wyant of McGrann, Pennsylvania.
