"Services were held for Mrs. Josephine M. "Josie" Goodson at 2 pm, Tuesday, October 20 at the Olathe Baptist Church. Josephine M. Goodson, 87, the wife of William F. Goodson of Olathe, died Saturday, October 17, 1981, at Delta Memorial Hospital. Born January 23, 1894 at Glenallen, Mo, Josephine Mouser was the daughter of William and Josephine (Hawn) Mouser. She attended school in Glenallen. She taught school for three years before her marriage to William F. (Bill) Goodson on March 17, 1915. The Goodson's lived in Olathe since 1936. Mrs. Goodson was a member of the First Baptist Church and active in church affairs. Surviving in addition to her husband are : one daughter, Mrs. Cortie (Louise)Blackburn of Delta; one son, Lowell Goodson of Clifton; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. One son, Willard, preceded her in death. Services were conducted by Kermitt C. Brubaker. Internment was in the Olathe Cemetery."
