ANDREW JACKSON MEADORS, age 78, of Highway 92 East, Williamsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin, Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife, (Nina) Rae Meadors of Williamsburg; daughter, Sandie Thomas (Lowell) of Williamsburg; sons, Thomas Andrew Meadors (Donna) of Williamsburg and Joseph Lee Meadors of Williamsburg; 4 grandchildren, Becky Keltner, Andrea Faulkner, Thomas Lee Meadors, and Tiffany Meadors; 3 great-grandchildren, Hunter Keltner, Andrew Keltner and Mason Manning; sisters, Mary Carr of Corbin, Kentucky, Beaulah Sharp of Corbin and Lula Leigh of Corbin; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Andrew was a member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea.
He was retired from Commonwealth-Monumental Insurance Company after 24 years of service.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 31, 2006 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Raymond Parks officiating.
Burial followed in the Carr Cemetery in the Sutton Mill Community.
Pallbearers were Donnie Hamblin, Lanny Ridner, Royce Ridner, John Cooper, Wesley Meadors and Robert Partin.
Military graveside services were provided by Fonzie Wilder American Legion Post #88.
Croley Funeral Home of Williamsburg, Kentucky was in charge of all arrangements.
