Mrs. Maggie E. Baker, aged 68, wife of James S. Baker, passed away at their home at Bakerden January 30, 1938. Mrs. Baker was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry Nettle, and had lived in this county all of her life. Funeral services were conducted by Bro. C. E. McCord at Macedonia church Monday afternoon. Interment was in the Macedonia cemetery under the direction of McNabb Undertaking Co. She is survived by her husband, a son [William Perry Baker], a daughter [Tilly Cunningham Yarbrough] and many other relatives. (PSH Obituary)
