Shannondale, March 15

Frank Booher, well known resident of this vicinity, died at his home here Saturday as the result of a parlytic stroke suffered last Sunday night. He was born near Darlington on April 1, 1863, the son of William K. and Arta M. Booher. He was married to Lida Barrough (sic - Darrough) on Jan 15, 1883. After her deceased in May 29, 1923 he was united in marriage to Rebecca Worth. He was a member of the New Market ME Church and Modern Woodmen. He lived near Darlington and in New Market the greater part of his life. Surviving are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. Leotus Wilson of Crawfordsville; one son, Damon Booher of near Waveland; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Vanis of Frankfort and Mrs. Mary Dixon of Lebanon; one brother, Milton Booher of Bainbridge; two grandchildren, one great grandchild, one stepson, three step great grandchildren and a number of other relatives, including Reid Booher of Crawfordsville. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at __(blank) o'clock at the Shannondale Bethel Church. Burial will be at the Shannondale Cemetery.
