James Allison Lunsford was my paternal great grandfather. He was the son, and youngest child, of William Lunsford and Mariah Norris of Ripley, Lauderdale County, Tennessee.
His first marriage was to Polly Jane "Jennie" Crow on 24-Dec-1875 in Dyer County, TN. Together, they had three daughters; Iva Mae, Eunice, and Carrie. Polly Jane passed away sometime between Jan 1885 and Sep 1889.
He was married to my great grandmother, Mary Anna Ferguson, on 04-Sep-1889 in Lauderdale County, TN, Together, they had two sons; Walter Felix Lunsford and Verser Rufus Lunsford, my grandfather.
