Sweetwater, July 3 - Carl A.F. Weidhuner, of R.R. 2, Greenview, died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday in St. John's hospital, Springfield, following a short illness. He was 60 years old.

Mr. Weidhuner was born April 1, 1984 in Menard county, a son of Carl and Marie Meyer Weidhuner.

He had been employed at the Springfield stockyards.

Surviving are his wife, Anna; two sons, Charles, of Roselle; and Elmer, of Portland, Ore.; four brothers, Fred, Henry, Otto and Harry, all of Greenview; two sisters, Mrs. Rosa Tobias, of Greenview; and Mrs. Anna Schulz, of Mason City; and four grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Mott & Son funeral home, Athens and were removed to the residence. Funeral services were held at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed church.

Burial was in the Elmwood cemetery, Greenview.
