Israel, son of Israel Camp and Ann Hine married Bettie Hurlbutt, daughter of Nathaniel Hurlbutt and Betty Taylor on 13 Oct 1778. Together he and Bettie had 13 children. They were:

Abigail (died at 9 yrs), Abial, David, Betsey, Anna (died at 4 yrs), Rufus (died at 2 yrs), Sarah Ann, Jonah, Israel, Sheldon, Esther, Rufus and Abigail

Israel Camp served in the Revolutionary War. About February 1, 1776, he volunteered for two months, and after his return home he enlisted for seven months with Captain Couch, joined the regimnt of Col. Herman Swift, served near Whitehall, N.Y., and aslo served in the years 1778, '79, '80, more or less.
