BORGER - Stacie Lynn Hancock-Jones, 46, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Fritch Church of Christ in Fritch with Richard Kasko, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Stacie was born March 19, 1962, in Littlefield to Glen and Carol Hancock. She graduated from North Lamar High School in Paris, Texas, in 1980.

Stacie was blessed with three children, Derek, Christopher and Jordan and in later years moved to Sunray. With a heart full of passion and faith, Stacie raised her children, who can never express the gratitude they feel for the lessons only a compassionate mother such as she could teach. She worked so hard to ensure that her kids had everything they needed.

On Oct. 8, 2004, Stacie married Jim Jones and relocated to Borger, where they shared four years full of understanding and love. Moving to Borger also allowed Stacie and her parents to reconnect and develop a devoted relationship only they could understand. Until her last moments, Stacie's brothers stood by her side attending to her needs, as she would have done for them. Since 2005, she has been blessed with three grandchildren or as she would say "three baby-licious." Their Grammie absolutely adored each and every one of them. "We'll always love you to the moon and back."

The family would like to thank the staff at Texas Oncology, Northwest Texas Hospital's fourth floor and Triumph for the fantastic care and sympathy.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and a cousin, Becky Corbell of Mount Pleasant.

Survivors include her husband, Jim; two sons, Derek and wife Jennifer of Amarillo and Christopher and wife Matti of Sunray; her only daughter, Jordan of Amarillo; her mom and dad, Glen and Carol Hancock of Fritch; two brothers, Randy of Fritch and Rodney of Borger; three wonderful grandchildren, Keaton, Kason and Railee; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Aaron Austin Memorial Scholarship Fund, courtesy of Happy State Bank and Lisa Crowe.
