Mrs. Karratti was born January 17, 1925, at Modoc Point. Her mother was Beryl Butler David. She married Abraham Karratti on September 14, 1962, in Klamath Falls.
She was a drug and alcohol abuse counselor for Native Americans until retiring in the late 1980s.
Among her interests were reading, crossword puzzles, hunting, camping, bowling, studying the Native American culture, and engaging in conversations. Her family was very important to her.
Survivors include her brother, Gordon David of Chiloquin; daughter, Roberta Fisher of Grants Pass; son, James Dumont of Nevada; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Anthony and Robert Dumont; daughter Marlene Miller; sisters, Christine Manning and Beverly and Linda David; brother, Rex Butler.

Funeral services for Clarice V. Karratti will be held at the Williamson River Methodist Church Indian Mission on Saturday; March 10, 2001, at 11:00 am. Concluding services will follow at the Lobert Cemetery.
Karratti, 76, died at her residence in Chiloquin, OR, on Saturday; March 3, 2001. Ward's Klamath Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
