Moses was an early pioneer in the "wilds" of Kentucky. He married Sarah Everman 13 Apr 1802 in Adams Co., OH.; which is across the Ohio River from Vanceburg. .

Cowboy star Roy Rogers was his 2nd great grandson.

Page 59-60: Moses was the son of Moses Kibbe (1747-1784) and Ruth Butler (1751-1786?) both from Connecticut and Massachusetts.
