Sally Ann Crawford passed away peacefully at her home in Puyallup, on June 20, 2008 surrounded by family, after a long and valiant battle against cancer.

Sally was born February 22, 1944 to Noel and Pat Klitz in La Grande, OR. She graduated from La Grande High School in 1962. She met the love of her life, Michael Crawford, in late July of 1965.

The attraction was immediate and mutual; they married 29 days later, on August 23, at Pendleton, OR. The young couple soon moved to the Puget Sound region and have resided here since. Sally enjoyed homemaking, and was noted for her beautiful garden and her excellent cooking, sewing, crocheting, and craftwork. Her peanut brittle was famous among family and friends.

She was interested in history and was well-read in the subject. She and Mike were very active for many years in square dancing and also loved skiing and traveling.
