Delbert Littrell Hughes, 83, of El Paso passed away Sunday. He had been a resident of El Paso 49 years and was a retired teacher for El Paso Public Schools. He was also a retired minister, having served as pastor of Austin Park First Christian Church. He was a member of First Christian Church and El Paso Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Lenore; his sons, Boyd Arthur Hughes of Detroit, Michigan and Roy Elwood Hughes of Fremont, California; his brothers, Francis Marion Hughes, Jr. of Santa Cruz, California and Herbert Perry Hughes of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kaster & Maxon Restlawn Chapel with Rev. Clifford Hargrave officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park.
