Clara M. Shaw, 84, 241 Tiffin St., Greenville, died at noon Sept. 11 at her residence.

She was born Oct. 14, 1916, in Darke County, the daughter of Wesley and Julia (Conoway) Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Calvin F. Shaw on Jan. 31, 1983; a son, Dennis Shaw in 1968; three sisters, Etta Yoder, Mabel Brown, and Eva Hill; and brother, Wesley Brown.

A homemaker, she was a member of the East Main Street Church of Christ of Greenville. She enjoyed her family, her animals, and crocheting.

Survivors include a son and daughters-in-law, Harold and Margaret Shaw of Greenville; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Ivron Hall of Williamsport, KY; grandchildren Clayton Ramsey, Dairalene Grier, Anthony Ramsey, Kimberly Shuttleworth, Stacy Townsend, Melissa Shaw; stepgrandchildren, Russell Ramsey Jr. and Debbie Brown; great-grandchildren, Jason, Matt, Ben, Sydnee, William, Stephen, Derek, Justin, Sarah, Adrianna, Arron, Ryan, Heather, Richard and Paula, stepgreat-grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua; brother and sister-in-law, Cleatus and June Brown of Englewood, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services are planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, with the Rev. James Morehouse officiating. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Darke County.
