John Asa Nunez. Creole – Funeral services for John Asa Nunez, 75, of Creole were conducted at 11 a.m. today in the Sacred Heart church of Creole, with Rev. Bruzas officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the O’Donnell funeral home. Mr. Nunez died at the home of his son, Joe Nunez of Sulphur at 6:40 p.m. Saturday. Survivors include two sons, Joe and Roy Nunez both of Sulphur; two daughters, Mrs. Albert Broussard of New Orleans, and Mrs. Emma Richard of Sulphur 25 nieces and nephews; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
