Following a brief illness, Frank P. Bass, aged 68 years, died this morning at 6:30 o'clock at the home of Mrs. William Rice, 815 Sophia street, death being due to a complication of diseases.
Deceased was born in Hartford, West Virginia and came to East Liverpool, in 1900 residing here for 20 years. He was employed as engineer and blacksmith at the Patterson Foundry Company. He was affiliated with the Knights of Pythias.
Besides his wife, deceased is survived by three sons, C.H. Bass and J.H. Bass of Worthngton and R.H. Bass of Youngstown, in addition three stepchildren, Mrs. William Rice of East Liverpool and J.W. Roush and Bert Roush of Chillicothe also survive.
Funeral services will be held at Sophia Street at 2:30 o'clock. Saturday afternoon. Interment will be made in Riverview cemetery.
