Dow G. Bridges of Crowder, 87, retired farmer, died of heart failure on Sunday, June 20, 1999 at Mississippi State Hospital.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks with burial in Crowder Cemetery.
He was a member of Blue Lake Baptist Church.
Mr. Bridges, the widower of Elizabeth Rodgers Bridges, leaves four daughters, Dorris Horn of Clarksville, Ruth B. Gordon, Carolyn Pinion and Melinda Jones, all of Lambert; a sister, Lillian Branscomb of Oxford; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family requests that any memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
