KILPATRICK RITES AT CAROLINA
G.W. Kilpatrick, 90-year old retired Carolina farmer, died at his home on RFD 5, Andalusia, May 27. Mr. Kilpatrick had lived in Carolina community for the past 49 years.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Walter S., RFD 5, Andalusia, Alvah, Baker, Fla., and Lawrence Kilpatrick, Bermuda Isles; seven daughters, Mrs. Annie Hutto, RFD 5, Andalusia; Mrs. Ellen Riley, RFD 5, Andalusia, Mrs. Alice Adams, RFD 5, Andalusia, Mrs. Daisy Pearl Sowell, Red Level; Mrs. Gertrude Young, Ft. Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Maude Padgett, RFD 5, Andalusia.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 30, from the Carolina Church with Revs. R.M. Corbett, and Dock Stephens officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were James Padgett, Denmark Kilpatrick, Denton Hutto, George Nelson, Aubrey Kilpatrick, and Howard Hutto.
