Survivors include his wife, Ruby Monceaux Arceneaux of Sweetlake; two sons, Mark Arceneaux of Lake Charles and Tommy Arceneaux of Sweetlake; one brother, James D. Arceneaux of San Antonio; four sisters, Louella Cox of Lafayette, Lydia Ardoin and Anna Whiddon, both of Welsh, and Alvina DeYeide of Houma; his mother, Ella Arceneaux of Welsh; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today, June 14, in Johnson Funeral Home. The Rev. Andrew Martin will officiate. The body will be cremated. Visitation is from 1 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association, Suite 1100, 919 North Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL 60611, the family said.
