Homer H. Sparkman
Homer H. Sparkman, 82, of 3105 Linden Ave., died Saturday at a local hospital. The funeral was today at noon at Huntsville Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Pendergrass and the Rev. G.D. Barrett officiating.
Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery with Laughlin Service Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Sparkman was retired from Huntsville Manufacturing Co. He was a member of the Huntsville Park Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Effie B. Sparkman; two daughters, Dolores Watson of Huntsville and Billy Nutt of Hope Hull; a son, Mike Sparkman of Huntsville; a sister, Edith Sparks of Madison; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Huntsville Park Baptist Church or to a favorite charity.
