Petersburg, March 22. - Mrs. Minnie Knoles Ellis, 73, died at 6:20 p.m., March 22, 1940, at her home in Petersburg following an extended illness. Death followed her return a few hours previous from Springfield hospital, Springfield where she was a patient a few days.
Remains were removed to the Thompson & Harms funeral home, Petersburg.
Services were held in Cumberland Presbyterian church, Petersburg.
Interment was in Elmwood cemetery, Greenview.
