Funeral services for Early Paul Thibodeaux, 84 of Sulphur, Louisiana was at 9 a.m. Thursday, May 30, in the Robison Funeral Home Chapel.

The Rev. Ed Brunnert officiated. Burial followd in Mimosa Pines Cemetery.

Mr. Thibodeaux died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, in a local hospital.

A native of Bosco near the tow of Mire, Louisiana, he was a lifelong resident of Lawtell before moving to Sulphur in 1955. He owned and operated Thib's Texaco from 1955 to 1960. He also owned and operated Thib's Bar for over 25 years.

Survivors included two sons, Autry Thibodeaux and Terrel Thibodeaux, both of Carlyss; two brothers Lynus Thibodeaux and Weston Thibodeaux, both of Rayne, Louisiana; one sister, Rosa Lee Thibodeaux Adams of Rayne, Louisiana; one half-sister, Gloria Thibodeaux Comeaux of Lafayette, Louisiana, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
