The son of Capt. Alling, Sr. & Dorothy Ball, he married Sarah Thompson, daughter of my ancestor, JOHN and ELEANOR (HARRISON) THOMPSON, on November 27, 1678.
Nov., 1702: Capt. Alling Ball and others were chosen a committee to manage the concerns of East Haven.

Capt. Alling Ball 6 Polls, 93 pounds, 21 1/4 acres.
The East Haven Register, Part III, p. 164:
1710, July Capt. Alling Ball, Jun. age 54 dies.
According to New Haven records letters of administration on the estate of Capt. Allen Ball were granted to his widow, Sarah, and his son, Allen Ball, Jr. on July 3rd 1710. The inventory of his estate was valued at 411 pounds, 18 shillings. Children, Sarah, Lydia & Allen Ball, Jr. are of full age, but Mercy (17) and Mehitable, also known as Mabel (15), chose their mother, Sarah for their guardian.
