Anton, son of Heinrich & Maria Anna Von Handrup Honkomp,
married Margaret Mescher in 1866 in New Vienna. Maggie died in 1860 with two children, Frank & Anna. Anton remarried in 1870 to Elizabeth hrig, who came to America with her brothers and sisters. Her parents died in Germany and she was found head of the family. After marriage, they farmed in Petersburg and then Ashton, Iowa, where he died in 1910.
