George Alfred Weigel, a former longtime resident of Creighton, passed away in Omaha, April 9, at the age of 91. He was born October 15, 1868 at Shelbyville, Ill. to Jacob and Dora Weigel. In his early years, his parents moved to Creighton, where he spent most of his life. He moved to Omaha in 19322.
He was married to Amelia Bessert, April 6, 1896 at Niobrara. Three sons were born to them.
He is survived by his wife at Omaha; one son, George, of California and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Clifford and Fred and one granddaughter.
