Earl D. Cantor, Jr., 89, of Monte Vista, Colo. passed away on Sat, Sept. 15, 2007 at the Rio Grande Hospital in Del Norte, Colo. Earl was born on June 10, 1918, to Earl D. and Georgia (Pyett) Cantor, Sr.
Earl is survived by his son, Joe (Elaine) Cantor, of Monte Vista; and his daughter, Roberta (Doug) Sommers, of Meade; his step mother, Burnes Armenta; his two brothers, Paul (Ellinore) Lynn, of Grand Junction, Colo. and Jim (Mary) Daughty, of Casper, Wyo; his three sisters, Anna Marie Parker, of Cheyenne, Sarah Crispan, of Denver, Colo. and Doris; four grandchildren, Sandra (Eddie) Burns, Jason (Candace) Luna, Cody Chavez and Jacob Trujillo; two great-grandchildren, Tomas (Patrick) Burns and Samantha Behr, and his niece, Brandy Luna.
The family chose cremation and to have no services. Arrangements were made under the directions of Strohmayer's Funeral Home of Monte Vista.
