James W. Ingram - July 2, 1969

James W. Ingram, 79, died in a local hospitial at 5 p.m. Wednesday. He was born in Smith County, Miss. and was a resident of Texarkana for 30 years. He was a retired carpenter and was a World War I Veteran, Barracks No. 1119. He was also a member of the Golden Age Club. He is survived by three daughters and three sons; one sister, Mrs. K.C. Colwell of Texarkana and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are pending with East Funeral Home.

Will was the son of James Monroe and
Martha Jane (Smith) Ingram
. He married (1st) Myrtle May Beasley on December 13, 1920 in Shreveport, Louisiana and they had six children.
