"Lois Jean LaMotte, 62, Hartford City, died unexpectedly 19 Jan 1988 in Blackford Co. Hospital's emergency room. Mrs. LaMotte was a life-long resident of Blackford Co. where she was born 14 Jul 1925, the daughter of the late John R. Yount and Daisy Wrestler Yount.
She was married 15 Sep 1950 to Orvile R. LaMotte in Eaton; he survives. She was a member of the Jonesboro House of Prayer in Jonesboro.
Survivors in addition to her husband, Orville, are four children, Delores (Larry) LaMotte of Leesburg, Val A. LaMotte, Eric LaMotte and Kerry LaMotte, all of Hatford City; also six grandchildren, and two sisters, Esther (Mrs. Gerald) Cole of Anderson and Dorothy Rhonemus of Hartford City. Burial was in Hartford City Cemetery."
