Galena, KS-Henry E "Hank" Nausley, 78, died at 8:40 a.m. Friday at St. John's Regional Medical Center Joplin, Mo. after a short illness. Mr.Nausley was born May 29, 1915 in Galena. He was a lifetime resident. He was a welder at the Eagle-Picher smelter in Galena for 48 years, retiring in 1978. He was a lifetime member of the Galena Elks Lodge No 677.

He married Erma Lucille Pigg on June 11, 1937 at Joplin, she passed on Dec 9, 1979. Survivors include two daughters Sharon Wilson and Judy Phares, two sisters Gladys Card and Peggy Martin. Six grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery Galena. The Rev. John Pigg will Officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jim Mooney, Ron Atkinson, Charles Kelly, Robert Medley, Mike Straughn and Mitchell Cook.

Family visitation with a rosary prayer service will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena.
