He was the son of Theodore and Martha "Peggy" (Wise) Hill, of Gettysburg.
Mr. Hill was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked at Sealed Air for 10 years, Big Jim's Beverage for a number of years and he also ran his own hauling business. He was a member of the Gettysburg American Legion.
He was the husband of Thelma Shelton and surviving, in addition to her and his parents, are six children, Clorice Walker, of Hagerstown, Crystal Shelton-Hill, Thelma Shelton-Hill, Craig Hill, Jr., Betty Shelton-Hill, and Jessica Rivera, all of Gettysburg; 14 grandchildren; and five siblings, Connie Shelton, of Gettysburg, Ted Hill, of Bethlehem, Pam Connelly, Gina Hill, and Kim Riley, all of Gettysburg.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Randy Hill, Scott G. Hill, and Mykel Hill.
