Harley L. Sharp of Lake City died Sunday morning at his home.

He was a retired coal miner and a member of Murrayville Baptist Church in Campbell County.

Survivors include his wife Lou Wilson Sharp of Lake City; his daughter, Mrs. Onnie Porter of Akron, Ohio; his step-mother, Mrs. Bertha Sharp of Lake City; three brothers, Newman and Labon Sharp, both of Lake City and Arnston Sharp of LaFollette; two half-sisters, Vernie Sharp and Mrs. Carrie Lee Martin, both of Lake City; three step-sons, Ronnie Smiddy of Lake City, Burgin Smiddy of Warner Robbins Air Force Base, Georgia, and Douglas Smiddy of Oklahoma; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church by the Rev. Charles Johnson. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Martin Funeral Home, Lake City, was in charge of arrangements.
