Margaret June Hawk, 77, of Chillicothe, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Traditions of Chillicothe following an extended illness.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 in Greenlawn Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.

Margaret was born June 23, 1930, in Chillicothe, to the late William and Lucy Bell Townsend. On January 13, 1962, she married Gene V. Hawk, who died September 18, 1992.

Surviving are son, Billy Joe Hawk and his companion, Jessie Woods; daughters and sons-in-law, Georgeanna (Ralph) Guysinger and Kimberly (Lawrence) Bonar; stepdaughter, Gloria Jean (Roy) Allen; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Donald Hawk; sister-in-law, Joyce Townsend; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Gary Young, Jr.

She was predeceased by brothers, Bill, Jack, Julius, and Ralph Townsend; sisters, Ruth Oyer and Jean Barnes; and an infant sister.
