Ryan D W Griffin, 19, Carbondale, died Sat., July 8,2006.

He was born Aug 16, 1986, at Topeka.

He graduated from Santa Fe Trail School in 2005, and attended Pratt Community College where he received a baseball scholarship. He was currently employed by Premier Landscarpe, Overbrook.

Survivors include his parents, Lewis and Robin Carpenter, Carbondale; his father, David Griffin, Topeka; three sisters, Melinda Griffin and Amy Seitz, both in Missouri, and Angela Griffin, Topeka, topeka; a brother, Zach Carpenter, Carbondale; grandparents, Don and Pat Kraus, Topeka, Lewis Carpenter and Norma Longar, Andover, Frank and Marty Golden, Wichita, Larry and Lois Smith, in Texas and Bill and Edna Griffin in Topeka.

Funeral services will be Thurs., July 12, at 11 am at the Grace Community Church, Overbrook. Burial was in Carbondale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ryan Griffin Memorial, a fund to be determined at a later date by the family, and sent in care of Carey Funeral Home, P O Box 196, Burlingame, Ks 66413.
