~MY ANCESTOR~
The son of RICHARD & DENNES SPERRY, he was a Lieutenant in the New Haven Train Band, and died at age 86 years. On April 3, 1694, LT. DANIEL SPERRY and DEBORAH (PECK) SPERRY, daughter of DEACON JOSEPH PECK and Sarah (Parker) Peck, were married in New Haven by William Eely, Commissioner.

Their known children: Deborah (Sperry) Wooding, Anne (Sperry) Bradley Wolcott, DANIEL SPERRY (my ancestor), Abel Sperry, William Sperry, Esther (Sperry) Goodyear, Elizabeth (Sperry) Peck) & Joseph Sperry.

He married second Sarah (Wilmot) Hotchkiss on Feb. 7, 1713, widow of Thomas Hotchkiss.
