Known to her family and friends as Jeannette, and most affectionately by her husband as D-Jett, Jeannette was born to Otis and Dorothy Mae Dibler in Ridgeway, Colorado.
She was raised in Norwood, Colorado where she graduated from Norwood High School in 1955. After high school, she went to business school in Omaha, Nebraska. After returning home, she met Norman E. Blair of Delta, Colorado who was doing seismic work in the area. They were married December 24, 1955. Through her husband's work, they traveled extensively until settling down in Vidor, Texas in May of 1966. To this union were added four children: Bruce,, Norma Jeann, Byron (Cindy) and Barrett (Andrea).
Jeannette was preceded in death by her infant brother Raymond and both parents. She is survived by her husband of fifty two years, her sister, Jo Ann Johnston, all four of her children, as well as seven grandchildren (Joshua Ryan Trim, Amanda Nicole Trim, Shawn Tory Blair, Mariah Kathleen Blair, Alexia Jill Blair, Allie Jess Blair, Garrett Dibler Blair).
