SOURCE: Works Projects Administration [WPA] report and transcription dated June, 1936 of the Lutheran Cemetery, Harris, MN by O. W. Fagerstrom [contained on three 4" x 6.25" cards].

John and Christina Anderson are found in the 1895 state census for Fish Lake Twp. John had come to Minnesota and the township in about 1882. Christina had lived in the township 5 years. Listed with them was Jonas Magnus, 32, a son.

The census indicates that John and Christina had been married 20 years and that Christina was the mother of two children, both who were deceased.

Since Jonas Magnus preceded Christina's marriage date by quite a bit, we can assume that (if the figures are correct) John could have been married before, and Jonas Magnus could be a child from his first marriage.

Johnas, at age 46, is also shown in the household with John and Christina in the 1910 US census.
