Funeral services for Jason C. Murrell will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2002 in the chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with the Pastors Steve Montgomery and Jamie Brunson officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.

Jason, 23, of Natchitoches died Sunday, April 14, 2002 at a friend's residence in Shreveport.

Survivors include his parents, Danny and Wannetta Murrell of Natchitoches; one sister, Lindsi Ryann Murrell of Natchitoches; paternal grandparents, Billy G. and Betty Brunson of Pineville; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Smith of Natchitoches and Mr. And Mrs. Louis Rougeou of Pineville; and maternal great-grandmother, Hattie E. Leak of Pineville.

Pallbearers will be Roger Murrell, Mark Brunson, Herbert Goff, Jerry McBride, Frank Holt, Mickey McBride, Randy McBride, and Wayne McBride.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Missionary Fund, 120 Corinth Church Road, Dry Prong, La. 71423.
