Not much is known about Edward. He is one of the 20 persons who have identical cement stones in the tiny cemetery behind the former Green Acres Care Center near North Branch, MN. He died 12 Feb 1908, about 3 or 4 years after the County Poor Farm moved from Sunrise to North Branch. He may or may not have been a resident of the Poor Farm at that time. I [Earl W Leaf] could not find a record of his death in the Government Center death records. His birth year is not given on the grave stone. He is not listed in the 1905 state census as a resident of the Poor Farm, so if he was ever a resident there, he would have had to come between 1905 and the time of his death in 1908.
