Mrs. William F. Palmateer Succumbs to Long Illness.
ESTACADA, Or., July 20.- (Special.)- After a lingering illness, Mrs. William F. Palmateer died at the family residence in Estacada, Sunday morning.
Mrs. Palmateer leaves many friends and relatives in this section, having resided in Garfield previous to her residence in Morgan in Estacada.
Mrs. Palmateer was 56 years old. She was Phoebe Garrison and as a girl she crossed the plains with her parents and located in Oregon in 1868. She was married to Mr. Palmateer in 1876.
The funeral took place from the Christian Church in Estacada this afternoon.
