93 years of age. Son of Joseph William Cofer and Lucy Ann Tedder Cook Cofer. Husband of (1) Rosa E. Fulk, who preceded him in death, and (2) Martha Ann Holt Coffer. He had lived on Flat Shoals Rd. with his daughter, Imogene and her husband Sandy Mabe near Quaker Gap.
Gaston married Rosa a.k.a 'Rosie' Ella Fulk on 12/29/1889. They had 12 children,Cora Lee, Elmine, Luella, Pearl Mae, Dollie Eva, Nora, Pauline, Nealie, Imogene, Harriet Grace, Roy and a stillborn daughter. After Rosies' death, Gaston married Martha Holt and they had one child Alice Marie.
Luella was born May 1898 and died September 9, 1930.
Elmine was born on April 6, 1896. She married George Robert Simmons(Bob)on February 8 1914. She died on May 29,1916 and is buried at Old Orchard, they had one son Edward.
Pearl Mae was born May 19,1903 She married Erven Moran.
Nora married Maud Lawson Aug.29 1924
Pauline married Ellis Lawson. There are buried in Hardbank Cemetery

Cora Lee was born March 24 1893. She married William Reid Fulp Dec. 25, 1917. They had 3 children who never married and lived together their entire lives: Odell(11/1/1918), Eula Mae (5/20/1923) and Linda Lucille(12/11/1927). They are all buried at Boyles Chapel.
Dollie Eva was born 1/13/1908 and married Johnnie Junior Bullin on 11/3/1928. They are buried at hardbank Cemetery. They had a son Charles Junior Bullin, he is buried in the Fagg Cemetery.
Imogene was born 5/28/1913 and married Sandy Mabe 10/20/1934.They are buried at Boyles Chapel.
Harriet was born 7/8/1916 and married Herman Vaden on 10/20/1934. Harriet and Imogene married the same day and year in a joint ceremony.
