Cecile Aungier Phelps, 96, of Tully, N.Y., died June 24, 2007, at Iroquois Nursing Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church, Route 80, Otisco. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Otisco. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hartwell Funeral Home, 11 Clinton St., Tully.

Cecile Aungier Phelps, of Tully, passed away June 24, 2007 at Iroquois Nursing Home. She was the daughter of Anna and Patrick Aungier born August 20, 1910. Mrs. Phelps was a graduate of Cortland Business Institute. She was a homemaker and served as a bookkeeper for her husband's construction business. She was a lifetime communicant of St. Patrick's Church, Otisco and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Lynn, in 2000. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Edward) Wortley of Tully; grandchildren, Patricia and Edward (Jamie) Wortley of Tully, Mary and Margaret Wortley of Randolph, MA, and Christine (John) Daniel of Liverpool; great-granddaughter, Sarah Daniel; stepgreat-granddaughter, Meredith Mumper; sisters-in-law, Virginia Crosley of Sarasota, FL and Eleanor Hartsch of Camillus; and four nieces and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 28, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Route 80, Otisco. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Otisco. Calling hours are Wednesday, June 27, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Hartwell Funeral Home, 11 Clinton Street, Tully. Contributions may be made to The Guardian Angel Society, 259 East Onondaga Street, Syracuse, NY 13202.
