Edna P. Browne, 73, Kansas City, Kan., died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 1989, at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center. She was born in Wells, Kan., and had lived in this area until 1948 when she moved to Bedford, Iowa. She returned to KCK in 1958. She worked 25 years at the snack bar in the old Brotherhood Building. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Lou Browne, Wichita; a son, Leonard H. Browne, Bedford; her mother Dora Green, KCK; two brothers, Cecil Green and Vernon Green, both of KCK; three sisters, Bessie Smith, Tonganoxie, and Doris Crossland and Frances Suberkropp, both of KCK; and five grandchildren. Services are pending at the Fulton-Nickel Funeral Home.
