Death of Mrs. J. L. Com
Della Stanley was born in Edgar County, Illinois, July 20, 1864. She passed away at the home of her son, Edgar L. Crom, near Henriette, Minn., after an illness of nearly three months at 8:30 a.m. March 21, 1935, aged 70 years, 8 months and 1 day. She was married to John LeRoy Crom November 12, 1881 near Geneva, Neb.
Her husband and the following ten sons remain to mourn her passing: Charles E., Lathrop, Cal; Ellis E., Alturas, Cal.; Orie E., Rochester, Minn.; Lloyd A., Milwaukee, Wis.; John S., Blooming Prairie, Minn.; Alva N., East Lake, Minn.; William J. and Cleo C., Duluth, Minn.; Edgar L. and Carl D., Grasston, Minn.
She is also mourned by her grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many friends. She was preceeded in death by a son Clarence, who passed away at the age of nine days and a daughter, Leva Bennett, who passed away at the age of thirty-one years.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. August Anderson of Diluth, Minn., from the Free Methodist Church at Henriette, Minn., at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 24. She lived a devoted Christian life, loving her Bible and the house of prayer. She was laid to rest in Grasston Cemetery.
