PALM SPRINGS, CALIF. - Car. G. Arrowood, 57, of Palm Springs, Calif., formerly of Des Moines, died of lung cancer Saturday in Palm Springs. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church in Palm Springs. The body has been cremated, and burial will be in the Gardens of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church.
Mr. Arrowood was born in Des Moines, where he lived 30 years. He moved to California in 1957. He was retired from the Palm Desert School Board.
Survivors include his wife, Millie; and three daughters, Sandy Winters, Diana Arrowood and Debbie Arrowood, all of Palm Springs.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
