Funeral Rites Held on Sunday for Luciele Richards at Naples.

NAPLES (Special)-Impressive funeral services were held Sunday in the Naples Ward Chapel at 2 p.m. for Miss Luciele Richards, daughter of David L. Richards and Samira Susannah Harker Richards.

A large crowd was present to pay their respects to the deceased and members of the family. The rostrum and casket were a mound of beautiful floral offerings. The funeral was conducted by Bishop Byron Goodrich. A double mixed quartet composed of Irene Gale, Bernice Lybbert, Ruby Allred, Lola Manwaring, J.N. Lybbert, Charles Pearce, Lewis Haws and O'Donnell Goodrich sang, "The Lord Is My Shepherd." The invocation by Luther Gale. The chorus sang, "I Know That My Redeemer Lives."

Mrs. Ada Cook, a life-long friend of the family, was the first speaker. At the close of her remarks she read a beautiful poem very appropriate for the occasion. A solo was sung by Miss Meda Walker accompanied by Mrs. Arthur Manwaring.

Wallace Calder was the next speaker. The chorus sang "Eternity." Benediction by G.H. Southam.

Those attending the casket were Lloyd, Ben and Weldon Richards, Frank Myers, Frank Merrill and Glen Knight. Those who came to be present from outside places were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Knight of Randlett, Mrs. Donnette Anderson and child of Salt Lake City and Frank Myers of Oregon, a grandson.

Deceased was born January 12, 1900 at Vernal. Miss Richards has been ill for several years and her condition for the past year was critical, as the result of a stroke. She was an active member of the Naples Ward LDS Church. Miss Richards graduated from the Uintah Academy and took college work at U of U.

Besides her parents she is survived by five sisters and three brothers, Stella and Hanna Richards of Vernal, Mrs. Donnette Anderson, Salt Lake, Mrs. Martha Knight of Randlett, Mrs. Orilla Myers of Oregon, Lloyd, Ben and Weldon Richards of Vernal.
