Louis Wayne Austin Sr. departed this life peacefully on January 25, 2003 in Carrollton, TX. He was born in Shreveport LA on February 28, 1933. He was raised in Forbing, LA where his father, John Thomas Austin, ran a saw mill and his mother, Ina Mearl Austin was the post mistress for over 30 years. He graduated from Byrd High School in Shreveport LA.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Joanne Austin.
He is survived by his three children: Kathleen Barker of Pickton, TX, Wayne Austin of Irving, TX, and Susan Austin of Irving, TX.; grandchildren: Audra, Julie, Trenton, James, and Landon.
Graveside services will be held at Centuries Memorial Cemetery in Shreveport, LA on Saturday Febraury 1, 2003 at 1 p.m.
