DEKALB JUNCTION — Funeral services for Kenneth R. Puffer, 65, of 1854 Ford St., Ogdensburg, were held today at 1 p.m. at the Denesha Funeral Home in DeKalb Junction with Rev. Leon Stillman officiating. Burial was in the Risley Cemetery in DeKalb Junction.
Mr. Puffer was pronounced dead on arrival to the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital at 8 a.m. Wednesday (April 17,1985) after being stricken at his home.
Surviving are a nephew, Donald Blount of Canton; a niece, Mrs. David (Eleanor) Holland of Morgan Hill, Calif.; an aunt, Mrs. Bernice Puffer of Canton; and several cousins.
He was born in the Town of Oswegatchie on Aug. 10, 1919, son of Harry and Ethyl Risley Puffer.
He attended DeKalb schools. He worked at Kraft Foods in Canton and on several Gouverneur-area farms. He had resided in Ogdensburg for the past 20 years.
