Joyce Geneva "Neva" McCall died Aug. 26, 2007, at age 62.

Joyce Geneva Hendon was born Sept. 4, 1944, in Foote, Miss. She moved to Boring in 1962 and later lived in Gresham, Portland and Beaverton before moving to Oregon City in June. She was a caregiver for nursing homes and then in private homes.

Survivors include her mother, Cora L. Hendon-Webb; sisters, Jeannie Turner, Linda Giordano and Fran Hergett; brothers, Arlie Hendon, Jerry Hendon, Ray Hendon and Doug Hendon.
