Arthur Rice, 81, Pioneer of Adair Co., Dies Saturday
Arthur B. Rice, 81, died Saturday afternoon at this home in Harrison township after a long illness. A prominent Adair county stock man, he had been a resident of the county for 70 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m Tuesday at the Methodist church here with burial in the Fontanelle cemetery. The body is now at the Bickford funeral home here.
Surviving are his wife and two sons, Ray of Stuart and Rex of Orient. On granddaughter and four grandsons also survive.
